It's HOT! Water is the most important nutrient. you can last for some time without food, but only days without water. Your body
is made up of 75% water. Water is essential for maintaining blood circulation and body temperature. Remember, if you are feeling
thirsty, you are already a little dehydrated. Drinking water helps prevent muscle cramping. When you are well hydrated you can
exercise longer and stronger without "hitting the wall" Here are a few recipes to make drinking water "cool" for the keiki.

Cucumber Cooler
10 cucumber slices
2 lemon slices
3 sprigs of rosemary
1 gallong of water

Citrus Splash
1 large lemon, sliced
1 large lime, sliced
1 large orange, sliced
1 gallon of water

Melon Madness
2 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
10 basil leaves
1 gallon of water

On August 26 we will have Cassie Baybayan, PHN here at the school to speak with students as well as any parents or
