    Ethernet AVB is an emerging standard that extends Ethernet to support multimedia streaming by adding Quality of Service features like time-synchronized low latency streaming services and bandwidth reservation. This allows audio and video signals to be carried on a standard Ethernet line. The Ethernet Audio/Video Bridging standard provides time synchronized low latency streaming to enable live audio and video to be connected over a network, reserving network resources and limiting buffering delay to between 50 milliseconds and 2 milliseconds for live performances. The standard is developed by the IEEE 802.1 Audio/Video Bridging Task Group.

    An emerging standard that extends Ethernet to support multimedia streaming. The Ethernet Audio/Video Bridging standard adds QoS(Quality of Service) features like time-synchronized
    low latencystreaming services and bandwidth reservation to make it possible to carry audio and video signals on a standard Ethernet line.
