Check CCTV footage everyday and ensure all the


required areas are covered by the CCTV camera (teller,
jewel loan, locker entrance etc.) and the backup for at
least 90 days.

Ensure security guards attendance

Ensure all staff knows where the Fire Extinguisher


location and operation of fire equipments installed inside
the bank.

Ensure all the staffs know how to handle security


equipment's and the location of it.
Ensure that no combustible items are dumped
anywhere in the bank area or in the adjoining area
Monitor CCTV and watch customer movement
Always follow security instructions
Bank secrecy should be maintained
Frequently conduct mock drill and fire practice and
ensure that all the staffs are attending in the
practice, if any lapse noticed pointed out and brief
them

Good relation with Police and public


Avoid unnecessary friendship with anyone

Avoid political talking


Frequently check UPS/Battery room and ensure that
no loose connection wire are present and no
combustible items are dumped inside the room
If any maintenance works are carried out in the
building by the owner of the building identify the
workers and keep an eye on the works they are doing.
Identify the occupants in the same building

Maintain a separate Guard attendance register. If


the guards are changed by the agency, then obtain
the posting letter and also contact the agency
through phone to verify his identity.
Maintaining staff should be identified from agency
Ensure close collapsible gate during lunch hrs
Ensure proper security for cash remittance

Dont allow cash escort party to leave during cash


movement time
Dont inform to security guards in advance cash
remittance location and time

Identify requirement and indent to concerned
Close relation with civil authority & Rescue fire force
Ensure all bank property are under insurance coverage

to their instruction
Shift documents and valuable property to a safer place

them about the present situation

If any civil authority help need, inform them
immediately

After
Check all Documents, security equipment, electrical,
and other bank property
If any damage or fault noticed take necessary actions
for repair/replacement

Inform to insurance company


Assess value of damages and inform it to the
concerned authority or person

Photography coverage of the damaged property


Take immediate action for normal function

If temporary location is required for bank functioning


inform it to RM.
Prepare detailed report

Threat By Phone
Keep caller on the line as long as possible
Attention to the back ground noise
Remain available till police or other officials
arrive

Convey all the information to the police


Dont panic

Public agitation
Listen to their demand
Dont argue with them
Dont take self decision of their demand act
according to higher officers

If out of control call the police


Dont support any group
Tactfully and intelligently deal the situation

Local Unrest
Close the bank nobody should be allowed to enter the
bank
Ensure the security of the bank and staffs
If necessary call police for security

Inform higher officers about the latest situation


Obey all instructions from civil and police authority
Dont support any group
If any damage during the unrest submit detail report to
RM and also file an FIR in the nearest police station

Assess cost of damages for insurance claim


Provide alternative arrangement for customers with

the help of other sister banks

Fire
Before
Ensure sufficient fire equipment are provided in the
bank
Ensure first aid box and check expiry date
Ensure that all staff knows the location of
equipment and also how to use them
Frequently check fire equipment
Fire contingency plan and evacuation plan
Frequently carry out fire practice and
maintaining register
Close relation with fire force

After
Use first Aid (fire equipment)
Inform to fire force immediately

Try all possible action to stop the fire to spread


Evacuation and priority to shift valuable
documents and assets
Obey all instruction by fire force and act
according
Assess damage prepare detailed report and
file FIR

Do not allow outsiders to enter the bank


Do not allow any items to be take out by anyone
without permission from police
And prepare list in this regard
Check all electric and building with professional
technician
Action for repair and replacement
Action for smooth functioning of banks should
also be taken
