Good writing comes from revision. One of the most valuable skills you can have in any career is
the ability to critically review your own writing as well as the writing of others.
For this peer review, you will be working in review groups of three people. Each person in the
group will review the papers of the other two people in the group. Review the papers of your
peers, completing this form on a separate sheet of paper for each essay. When you turn in your
paper at the end of the class period, you should have two review pages attached to your essay.
Make comments on your peers essays, but substantial comments should be made on your forms
you turn in.
Timeline: 10 minutes to go over the papers and 5 minutes to discuss. Total time: 45 minutes.
