All the staff members are well qualified and highly committed to the
profession
The infrastructural resources like library, Smart Hall, Journals.
Use of ICT for teaching
WEAKNESS
Majority of the students are from rural areas and from Tamil medium in
School level
Students with less percentage of marks in school level are admitted, will
affects the overall results of the department
OPPORTUNITIES
Mathematics students getting jobs in many fields such as banks, IT field,
teaching, Management side, Research areas.
CHALLENGES
Most of the students are from Tamil medium in higher secondary level
It is very hard to explain the mathematical concepts in Tamil
Most of the students do not have basic knowledge in mathematics, and so
they have to be taught from the basic level.
