VisitScotland, the national tourism organisation for Scotland, has as its main aim to
contribute significantly to the advancement of Scottish tourism by giving it a real presence in
the global marketplace and benefiting the whole of Scotland.
We are offering 3 Modern Apprenticeships within our VisitScotland Information Centres, 2
based in Glasgow and 1 based in Edinburgh. The qualification that the candidate is required
to complete within their first year of employment is Customer Service SVQ Level 3 delivered
by Direct Partners.
The hours of work will be variable and will be as directed by appropriate line manager.
These hours of work could include Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. The salary for
the first year is 10,000 per annum and will increase after successful completion of both the
SVQ and additional training period set by VisitScotland (12 months).
The closing date for applications is Friday 8th February 2013, with a view to starting
beginning of March.
We are also offering 1 Modern Apprenticeship within our International PR Department
based in Edinburgh. The qualification that the candidate is required to complete within their
first year of employment is Business and Administration SVQ Level 3 delivered by Direct
Partners.
The hours of work will be 35 per week (usually Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm). The salary for
the first year is 10,000 per annum and will increase after successful completion of both the
SVQ and additional training period set by VisitScotland (12 months).
The closing date for applications is Monday 28th January 2013, with a view to starting
in February.
