Observed and assisted in a Title I literacy classroom for first through third graders. Assisted with administering
reading assessments including miscue analysis and running record to assess students' abilities to read fluently.

Created and implemented age appropriate math lessons and tutored during the summer in a rural setting.

Observed the makeup of an urban school, including office, hallway, classroom, and community hours.
Field Experience V- Third Grade: Winding Creek Elementary School, Moore, OK, Spring 2014
Created and implemented two lessons per subject (science, mathematics, literacy, and social studies). Assisted
with teacher responsibilities such as printing, grading, recess duty, etc. Attended faculty meetings, in-home visits,
and parent-teacher conferences.
Field Experience VI- Third Grade: Reagan Elementary School, Norman, OK, Fall 2014
Created and implemented lesson plans for all major subjects taught in the third grade classroom. Managed a third
grade classroom for a total of seventeen full days during the semester. Attended professional development,
parent teacher conferences, faculty meetings, and IEP meetings.

RELATED EXPERIENCE
Volunteer: Loveworks After School Program, Spring 2013. Assisted students with unfinished homework and
class assignments. Tutored students in reading, math, and social studies.
