Radio Terms:

BOLO - This means ''Be on the lookout'' it is used when someone is looking for a
certain vehicle or person. An example of a BOLO being called over Non-Priority
radio: ''All units BOLO for a green sultan, with gold rims. One male driver, license
plate DSL-527, last seen heading east along Washington avenue, Over''
ASAP - This means "As soon as possible" and signifies that the person requesting
something needs it done quickly. Often synonymous with "Urgently." Example: Need
an 11-48 ASAP, over."
ETA - This means "estimated time of arrival" and is used in several ways. The first
of which is to ask when a person will arrive, IE: "ETA of the 11-48?" Another thing
people do with this is to say when the will arrive, or when something will be done,
for example: "11-48's ETA is three minutes, over."
