This letter is with reference to above mentioned subject.I am Pradeep Somanahalli
Nagabhushan pursuing my MSc. in Computational Mechanics at University of
Duisburg-Essen.
I have around 1 year experience in Aerodynamics of Gasturbine compressors (axial and
radial). During my Master thesis I have gained knowledge on analytical and numerical
aspects of 1D aerodynamics, 2D and 3D blade design (ProEngineer Wildfire 5.0) and
numerical simulation using ANSYS CFX.
I am very much interested in Computational Fluid Dynamics. I have also done 6 months
internship at MAN Diesel on Compressor Aerodynamics (turbocharger). During my
Master studies I have developed good skills in the areas of CFD and FEM. I have learnt
softwares viz. StarCCM+, ANSYS CFX, ANSYS Fluent, Gambit, ICEM CFD.
In my curriculum I have also gained programming skills on C, FORTRAN and Matlab.
Also during my professional career of 2 Years and 9 months I have gained sound
knowledge in Product design and development (ProEngineer Wildfire). I am keenly
interested in anything that involves calculations.
