Students will analyse the text structure and language features appropriate to each particular text type and create their own, with the reader and purpose in mind.
Students will complete Individual Spelling List daily. Weekly mini lessons and investigations focusing on spelling rules and patterns meeting individual needs.

Aims: to improve fluency by applying decoding strategies, identify literal and inferred meaning, make connections, select information and ideas in texts and write responses to texts.
