I can still remember
That day, when I first knew you
Your smile
So lovely and kind
Your heart
So tender and pure
Nothing could come between us
Even the world is far beyond us
No one will take this amity away from us
Just you and me, forever
Until the world will see us through
With this friendship, we create together
It is patience and forgiveness
Never failing neither forsaking
No more thought of what or why
It warms my heart
You chose me as your friend
And together we trust and depend.
When the times are tough,
You listen with attentive care
And reassure my troubled mind
Soft words of your virtue
It just touched my heart,
To know you are always there
You have always been there
A shoulder to cry on
When something is wrong
When my days are ruined
Your smile is there to cheer me up
And then its all well again
Obstacles and temptations have I overcome
Greatest moments of togetherness shared
You never give up on me
A friend like you is hard to find
And you are the reason why,
I keep on going strong

That no one else has seen
