OLX needs to spend Rs. 40 lakhs as CSR in 2015-16. It spends Rs. 50

lakhs. Can they carry forward Rs. 10lakhs as CSR funds for next
financial year?
OLX needs to spend Rs. 40 lakhs as CSR in 2015-16. It spends Rs. 30
lakhs.
Can they show Rs. 10 lakhs in P&L statement as profit?

Schedule VII: Recommended CSR Activities

Schedule VII based on vide notification number GSR 130(E) dated 27th
February, 2014 (effective from 1st April, 2014)

Eradicating hunger and poverty and malnutrition, promoting preventive

healthcare and sanitation and making available safe drinking water;
Promoting education including special education and employment enhancing

differently abled and livelihood enhancement projects;
Promoting gender equality, empowering women, setting up homes and
hostels for women and orphans, setting up old age homes, day care centres
and such other facilities for senior citizens and measures for reducing
inequalities faced by socially and economically backward groups.
Ensuring environmental sustainability, ecological balance, protection of flora
and fauna, animal welfare, agro forestry, conservation of natural resources
and maintaining quality of soil, air and water;
Protection of natural heritage, art and culture including restoration of

In Schedule VII, after item (x), the following item and entry shall be
inserted, namely:- (xi) slum area development.
vide amendment notification number G.S.R. 741(E) dated 24th October,
2014:
a. In item (i), after the words and sanitation, the words including
contribution to the Swach Bharat Kosh set-up by the Central
Government for the promotion of sanitation shall be inserted;
b. (ii) In item (iv), after the words and water, the words including
contribution to the Clean Ganga Fund setup by the Central
Government for rejuvenation of river Ganga; shall be inserted.
