Airport Happenings

Along with all the other improvements and

construction at the Glasgow Airport including
paving and a new hangar going up, ODay
Equipment, LLC, had a crew here out of North
Dakota working well into a late cool Wednesday
evening to install brand new fuel tanks along with
a cabinet housing all new pumps and electronics.
One tank has a 20,000 gallon capacity, the other
being 12,000 gallon capacity. Thats a lot of av
gas, one of the crew members commented.

Too much ethical murkiness

or, just how crooked is it?
After allegations surfaced that Hillary Clinton used
her time as Secretary of State to sell access to major
Clinton Foundation donors, multiple left wing and
center left media sources have come forward asking
that the Clinton Foundation change their ways or shut
down.
The Huffington Post began the week with a
front page banner that read Just Shut it Down. The
banner linked to an article on The New York Times
that highlighted multiple-million dollar donors to the
Clinton Foundation that saw the donations coinciding
with favorable federal actions while Clinton was
Secretary of State.
The Washington Post wrote that should Ms. Clinton
win, all of that work and all of the foundations assets
should be spun off to an organization with no ties to the
first family.
The USA Today editorial board noted the only way
to eliminate the odor surrounding the foundation is to
wind it down and put it in mothballs, starting today,
and transfer its important charitable work to another
large American charity.
John Cassidy of The New Yorker also wrote that
it would be smart for the Clintons to separate the
Foundations assets from the founding family and turn
it into an independent organization run and overseen
by people unconnected to the Clintons.
On the other side, the Boston Globe, Slate and Daily
Beast feel that the Foundation should just be shut down,
even if temporarily.
Sam Stein of the Huffington Post said on MSNBCs
Morning Joe that the Clinton Foundation needs to be
shut down or moved to another foundation stating,
Can you imagine, the people shes going to have to
meet with as president assuming she wins its just
going to overlap constantly. Well have stories like this
nonstop. Theres too much ethical murkiness here.
Longtime Clinton ally and former Pennsylvania
Governor Ed Rendell agrees with Stein in Itd be
impossible to keep the Foundation open without at least
the appearance of a problem.
Ryan Grim of Huffington Post and Jonathan Chait
of New York Magazine were not as kind in their views
of the Clinton Foundation stating that it should die and
mocking the Foundations goal in eradicating disease
and poverty.

That the Clinton Foundation has done some

good work is beyond dispute. But that fact has exactly
nothing to do with the profound ethical problems and
corruption threats raised by the way its funds have been
raised. The Saudi Regime and other Gulf tyrannies have
donated millions to the Clinton Foundation.
The Saudi regime by itself has donated between
$10 million and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation,
with donations coming as late as 2014, as she prepared
her presidential run. A group called Friends of Saudi
Arabia, co-founded by a Saudi Prince, gave an
additional amount between $1 million and $5 million.
The Clinton Foundation says that between $1 million
and $5 million was also donated by the State of Qatar,
the United Arab Emirates, and the government of
Brunei. The State of Kuwait has donated between $5
million and $10 million.
For some mystifying reason, these regimes
among the most anti-gay, repressive and regressive in
the world seem particularly motivated to transfer
millions to the Clinton Foundation but not the other
charities around the world doing similar work. Why
might that be? What could ever explain it?
It is an insult to everyones intelligence to claim that
the motive of these regimes in transferring millions to
the Clinton Foundation is a selfless desire to help them
in their noble work.

If you say you are

cooler than me....
Does that make me
hotter than you?

The Riders Cup?

Four old men went into the pro shop after playing
18 holes of golf. The pro asked, Did you guys have a
good game today?
The first old guy said, Yes, I had three riders today.
The second old guy said, I had the most riders
ever. I had five.
The third old guy said, I had seven riders, the same
as last time.
The last old man said, I beat my old record. I had
12 riders today.
After they went into the locker room, another
golfer who had heard the old guys talking about their
game went to the pro and said, Ive been playing golf
for a long time and thought I knew all the terminology
of the game, but whats a rider?
The pro said, A rider is when you hit the ball far
enough to actually get in the golf cart and ride to it.

A little boy got lost at the YMCA and found himself
in the womens locker room. When he was spotted, the
room burst into shrieks, with ladies grabbing towels and
running for cover. The little boy watched in amazement
and then asked, Whats the matter? Havent you ever
seen a little boy before?

Random
Rants
&
Raves
I find it ironic that the colors red, white, and blue
stand for freedom until they are flashing behind you.
This morning I was sitting on a bench next to a
homeless man, I asked him how he ended up this way.
He said: Up until last week, I still had it all!!! I had a
roof over my head, a cook, my clothes were washed &
pressed, I had TV, internet, I went to the gym, the pool,
the library, school if I wanted ...
I asked him, What happened? Drugs? Alcohol?
Divorce???
Oh no, nothing like that, he said. No, no ... I just
got out of prison.
Never tell your problems to anyone...20% dont care
and the other 80% are glad you have them...
My friends dog died the other day so I surprised
her by going out and getting her an identical dog. She
was furious; she said, What am I supposed to do with
two dead dogs?!?
President Obama claims that we need a federalized
police force. Adolph Hitler had one. It was called the
Gestapo.
We have to stop saying How stupid can you be?
Too many people are seeing it as a challenge.
