Stage 1: Info Gap (S-S: partners) (10 mins)
Debrief: T as person A, ask questions. Ss answer.
Transition: Very good. Now, look around the classroom. We have pictures on the wall. What is
this? Good. My sink is broken. What do I do? Good! One partner asks questions, the other
partner answers the question. (Example with Tom)
Stage 2: (S-S: partners) go around classroom to photos asking each other questions.
Debrief: Ss ask question. T answers.
Transition: Good. Now, class, what if I cannot fix my dryer, fix my dishwasher, unclog my
sink? (Repeat) I have to call someone. Three people you can call on the phone
PRESENT (b) (T-S:) (10 mins)
(Define on GoogleTranslate)

1. Plumber only fixes things with water

2. Handyman can fix everything
3. Landlord This person knows who to call if something is broken
