Cause
Therearefoursituationsthatcommonlycausethiserror:
1.TheVeeamVMisonadifferenthostthanthesourceVM,andtheVMwasaddedtothejobthroughthehostdirectly(asopposedtothroughtheVC).
2.StoragehostingdisksofthesourceVMisnotaccessiblebytheESXonwhichtheVeeamVMisrunning
3.TheVeeamVMandthesourceVMaremanagedbydifferentVC's.
4.TheVeeamVMandthesourceVMaremanagedbythesameVC,butlocatedindifferentDataCenters

Solution
Inthefirstcaseabove,addtheaffectedVMtothejobbytheVC.
Intheothersituations,however,Hotadd/VirtualAppliancemodeisnotapplicableorpossiblegiventhecurrentVMWarearchitecture.

What'sgoingonessentially,isthatthehost(orcluster)isunawareoftheotherVMtobeabletofindit.HostsandClustersbothareisolatedelementsthataren'tabletotalkwithoutahigherpoint
VC.Otherwise,whenadiskisrequestedforattachment,itcannotfindeithersourceordestination(depending),andfailswitha"UUIDisnotfound/Parameterisnotvalid"typeerror.
