Cancel the Hearing set for today August 16, 2016 at 1:30 PM
Defendant Neil J. Gillespie, an indigent non-lawyer, unable to obtain adequate counsel, a
consumer of legal and court services affecting interstate commerce, a consumer of personal,
family and household goods and services, consumer transactions in interstate commerce, a
person with disabilities, and a vulnerable adult, henceforth in the first person, reluctantly appears
pro se, and hereby files this emergency motion to cancel a hearing today at 1:30 PM.
1.

I moved to disqualify the Honorable Edward L. Scott today.

2.

The Notice of Hearing (Exhibit A) calls for a hearing on the following motions:
Defendants Motion for Withdrawal Answer
Defendant's Motion to Dismiss and Strike Complaint
Defendant's Motion to Dismiss and Strike Emergency Motion for Entry of Preliminary
Injunction

before the Honorable Edward L. Scott, Circuit Judge.

Plaintiffs counsel objects to Defendant's Motion to Dismiss and Strike Complaint, and,

Defendant's Motion to Dismiss and Strike Emergency Motion for Entry of Preliminary Injunction

The Plaintiffs counsel opined in its response that I should be permitted to amend my

answer. Therefore I agree to withdrawal Defendant's Motion to Dismiss and Strike Complaint,
and withdrawal Defendant's Motion to Dismiss and Strike Emergency Motion for Entry of
Preliminary Injunction, and file my amended my answer within 20 days from today.

I requested legal representation from the Sammis Law Firm, P.A. by email Wednesday,

August 10, 2016 at 3:45 PM but do not have a response, other than a read acknowledgment
from attorney Jason D. Sammis. (Exhibit B).

I am a qualified person with a disability who needs assistance in order to participate in a

program or service of the State Courts System. Due to disabilities that include, inter alia,
traumatic brain injury, I cannot appear in court as a nonlawyer attorney representing myself.
WHEREFORE, I move to cancel the hearing today at 1:30 PM, and agree to withdrawal
Defendant's Motion to Dismiss and Strike Complaint, and withdrawal Defendant's Motion to
Dismiss and Strike Emergency Motion for Entry of Preliminary Injunction, and file my amended
my answer within 20 days from today.
If the hearing is not canceled, I want to appear telephonically.

Good evening. I appreciate the information on your firms website about notary misconduct.

I made a complaint against two notaries public that resulted in a "letter of caution" to each notary, but
that term does not appear on your site under "Complaint Process"; instead "letter of advice" is the term
used by your website. See attached the "letters of caution" I received.
I do not believe the Notary Section followed the procedure shown on your website. The two notaries
work for Sumter Electric Cooperative. The notaries knowingly misdated affidavits at the direction of
counsel to effect a temporary restraining order against me. I have been trying to get an accounting of socalled capital credits due on my account, and the account of my mother.
Is the "letter of caution" correct, or should it be a "letter of advice"? The Notary Section never send the

notaries public a copy of my compliant of notary misconduct by certified mail, or by any other way that
I know. The notaries public did not respond to my complaint in writing. It has been a nightmare getting
any documents from the Notary Section. I put some of the documents on Scribd.
