Check List of Physical Counting of Stock and Stock Management
1. Collect the approval of the physical counting program from AGM.
2. Select the items for physical counting on random sample basis from Tally. 3. Print out the list of the selected items with stock position. 4. Inform the store in-charge on the day of the counting about the physical counting. 5. Start physical counting of those selected items. If necessary or situation demands, more items to be included for physical counting. 6. Verify the movement of few items of a certain period to be fixed by AGM for movement analysis. 7. Verify the consumptions & production vouchers, where necessary. 8. Collect the signature of the Store In-charge after physical counting. 9. Verify whether the Day Book is properly maintained. 10. Find out the list of damage/ broken/ dead stock / slow moving items. 11. Report on overall stock counting, analysis and related activities to the AGM.
