0. Preamble
For all requirements that are not specified in more detail, the legal regulations and state of the art serve as
the requirement.

1. Purpose and applications

The parts and sub-assemblies described here are used for Schmitz Cargobull AG vehicles of all types.
During their life cycle they will be exposed to a wide range of possible environmental and operating stresses
and strains, as would be expected from worldwide use, including in the world's extreme climatic zones:
Temperatures from 40C to 80C
Humidity from 10 to 95 % relative humidity.
The usual stresses and strains arising from vehicle operation and other such uses.

2. Scope
The company central standard applies to all suppliers that supply and/or prefabricate vehicle rubber
bumpers and ram strips to SCHMITZ CARGOBULL AG.
The company central standards apply in conjunction with the corresponding drawings and parts lists of the
most recent design revision and where a conflict exists are considered to be decisive.
Note:
Requirements / properties differing from this company central standard, e.g. special hardness etc. must be
regulated separately! (e.g. in drawing data).

3. Products
All vehicle rubber bumpers and ram strips in their respective versions and dimensions.
These parts are made of pure elastomer or they are rubber-metal parts.
