For filling, basically theres no chemical reaction or new substance created. We just
gather all materials, then assembly it into product. But to make it clear, it will be better to make
mass balance of assembling the Product as well

For one product, it takes 2 drum of packer fluid additives. And in one day, the plant can
produce 7 drum. So from the calculation before, we can assume that the weight for one product
is 494,5 kg (2 drum)
2.7.2. Energy Balance
Energy Balance is very important part to determine energy required of every equipment in
every process. For our fluid additives processing, the process that use an equipment is Mixing
and filling. We dont need energy balance for the other process because it takes no equipment.
For solving energy balance, we need to know system and surrounding term. System has a
definite boundary, called the system boundary, that is chosen and specified at the beginning of
the analysis. Surrounding is everything external to system. The system for mixing is mixed itself
and everything external to it is surroundings. Its a closed system where heat and work are
exchanged across a systems boundary, but material is not. What we are going to determine for
mixing energy balance is heat required for process.
This is the energy balance of equipment to process our product

From the calculation above, we get energy requirement for each product unit. We will
produce 7 drum everyday so the energy requirement : 69,05 kWh
Energy Requirement Per Product Unit (2 drum) = 69,05 kWh x 2drum / 7 drum
= 19,72 kWh
