This lecture discussed ATP models for three types of simulation

cases.
1) Relay testset testing a simulated distance relay. The settings for the
test set can be changed by editing the *.dat file that containts the
simulation. The other two files (with the *.MDL extension) contain
part of the relay model. The relay is modelled using the MODELS language in ATP.
This case will not run in the DCG EMTP.
2) Distance relay model. This case models a distance relay in a simple
power system. The system and the fault initiation are in the rhbreak.dat
file. The remaining files contain transmission line data and the relay model.
The fault location can be moved by editing the rhbreak.dat file and
uncommentingdifferent fault locations. It is presently set for a forward
fault in zone 2. The relay is again modelled using the MODELS language in ATP.
This case will not run in the DCG EMTP.
3) Simple time overcurrent relay with reclosing enabled. The relay is
modelled in TACS and this case will run in the DCG EMTP.
