Introduction
HKU SPACE is the sole provider of a 30-hour comprehensive examination preparatory course for the CIMA Masters
Gateway Assessment (CMGA)/ CIMA Gateway Assessment (CGA), which on passing will be awarded the CIMA
Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting.
CIMA is the worlds largest professional body of management accountants with 172,000 members/students in 165 countries.
The CMGA is a fast-track for MBA holders to become a professional management accountant.

The CMGA/ CGA
By passing one (CMGA/ CGA) exam, you will be:

awarded a prestigious qualification, the CIMA Advanced


Diploma in Management Accounting, entitling them to the
professional letters CIMA Ad Dip MA.
Become a Chartered Management Accountant
On passing 3 more exams of the strategic level and T4 you will
become a member of CIMA. This will entitle the use of the
designatory letters ACMA (Associate Chartered Management
Accountant) after your name and the description Chartered
Management Accountant.
Programme delivery
The examination preparation course consists of 30 hours of
lectures held on weekday evenings, weekends and will include
public holidays if necessary, in HKU SPACE Learning Centres.

English.

Course fee
HK$3,000 (does not include textbooks, however, lecture notes will
be provided). Please make cheques payable to "HKU SPACE".

Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Applicants are required to complete the enclosed
application form and submit together with relevant payments to any of the following offices:Note: Prior to enrolling on the CMGA/ CGA preparatory course, applicants will need to ensure they are eligible to write the
CMGA/ CGA exam, please check with CIMA for more details (Tel: 2511 2003).

2. Fees paid by crossed cheque or bank draft should be made payable to HKU SPACE.
3. For general and short courses, applicants may be required to pay the course fee in cash or by EPS if the course will start shortly.
4. If admission is on a first-come, first-served basis and if you do not hear from us before the course starts, you may assume that
your application has been accepted, and should attend the course as scheduled.
If admission is by selection, then this receipt is not a guarantee that your application has been accepted. We will inform you of
the result as soon as possible after the closing date for application. Unsuccessful applicants will be given a refund of course fee
if already paid.
6. If you do not know the teaching venue within 3 days of the starting date of the course, please check with the relevant subject
