Dear Parents,
We made it to September! August
2016 has been a great success and I
am looking forward to another great
month.
In other news, the class has been
learning how to navigate through
Google Classroom. This is an online
program through Google that allows
teachers to create and give
assignments online for students to
complete. It gives students practice
with typing and they can access
these assignments from home if they
need to through their school Google
account.
In fifth grade, we are preparing
students for all of the digital projects
they will encounter in junior high and
high school. We are working to set
up notifications to families so that you
can see what we are working on in
class. Stay tuned!

Have a great rest of your

week!
Mrs. Verseman

Reminders:

Snacks for the whole class are

always welcome! Boxes of
cereal are wonderful.

Feel free to contact me at any

time. I enjoy getting to know the
families of my students.

5th Grade Constitution

Ask Your Kiddo!

Students received their

midterms this Friday. Ask
your kiddo to take a look
at their midterms. I am so
proud of my class! They are
off to a great start with
their grades and I couldnt
ask for nicer students.

The whole fifth grade came together and

created a class constitution for us to hold
ourselves to. Here are the items the fifth
graders came up with-

1. Be respectful, be
responsible, and safe.
2. Treat others the way you
would like to be treated.
3. Challenge yourself.
4. Be an honest ninja.
5. Try to work out problems as
a good sport.
***Follow your dreams.***
