Policies
Homework: We will have homework
regularly. Homework is to be turned in at
the beginning of class.
Attendance: All missed work due to
absences will need to be made up on
students own time. More than 3 unexcused
absences will result in a grade deduction on
all missed work.
Participation: IS NON NEGOTIABLE.
Your participation in this class is vital to
your success in this class. Every class period
and activity will require your full
engagement.
Interactive Notebooks: Over the course
of the semester we will be putting together
this notebook. It will include all classwork.
They will be left in class and we will work in
them regularly. We will discuss these further
in class!
Tests and quizzes: All missed tests or
quizzes will be made up on your own time
(after or before school), NOT in class. They
must be made up within 5 days or will result
in a zero. Test corrections and retesting will
also be offered after Unit Tests.
Bathroom Use/Food and Drink:
Students will be allowed to use the
bathroom pass 4 times during class time per
semester. Food and drink not allowed
unless proof of medical emergency.
Labs: It is necessary to follow ALL lab
safety procedures for the safety of the class.
Not doing so will result with consequences.
