10. Ms. Pollard was measuring fabric for the musical costumes. She needs 125.5 metres for all the
costumes. She has already bought 87.09 metres of fabric, how much more does she need for all the
costumes?
11. Tim's high school played 739 baseball games this year, 135 of the games were played at night. He
attended 494 games. How many baseball games did Tim miss?
12. Jessica found 811 seashells and 121 starfish on the beach. She gave 535 of the seashells to Sally.
How many seashells does Jessica now have?
13. There are 109 rulers and 117 crayons in the cabinet. Keith placed 125 more rulers in the cabinet.
How many rulers are now there in all?
14. Samson bought 3 bags which cost 12.30, 34.23 and 23.19, in that order. How much did he need
to pay?
15. Kevin measures a 3-sided plate whose sides are 12.4 inches, 9.45 inches and 10.35 inches
respectively. What is the perimeter of a 3-sided plate?
