Lucy and Ethel, Batman and Robin, peanut butter and jelly. There's power in pairs. With
two short and engaging texts, you can spark interest, read deeply, make inferences, and
write thoughtfully. The right pairing will allow you to simplify, streamline, and strategically
implement quality instruction.

GRADE LEVELS FOR THIS WORKSHOP ARE GRADES 4 - 12

This session is a follow-up to the Write 4 Texas Summer Institute, but
there is no pre-requisite and no charge to districts for attending per the
Write 4 Texas grant stipulations. Through this session, we will target
close reading, inferencing, short answer question, mentor sentences,
