Those of us who moved to France for the sun have certainly had
their wish the last few weeks though maybe a few drops of rain
would have been welcome. I am waiting with bated breath to see
if anything survives in my garden.

Next meeting: 20th September, 14:30 at Tillou.

Please do your best to come to the Extraordinary General
Meeting we will be making some very big decisions and saying
goodbye and thank you to Mike as president for his hard work
and dedication these last ten years.
And, not to forget, we will be having our annual quiz after the
EGM.

Hi Everyone.
Last Newsletter from me as president. How are you all coping
with the heat; there is a possibility it may come to an end after
12th September. My nursery has not seen rain since 10th June,
nearly three months. Several clients have said that an odd
shower has arrived out of the blue, but just local by all accounts.
Each evening I spend over three hours watering by hose, Ive
been reported three times and visited by authorities, who come in
for a beer or coffee, as I have permission because it is my
business. In most areas there is a hosepipe ban, with large fines
if seen, So be aware.
