constantly challenge me and provide me with the opportunity to further expand my skills and knowledge Practicum 1 Merrimac State High School Teaching grades 8 and 9 Science and grade 11 Science in Practice under the supervision of Ms Breanna Griffin and other supervision teachers Responsible for preparation of resources and effective teaching for every lesson for all three lines to align with current unit plans and ACARA criteria Revision and preparation of the year 8 and 9 students for examinations, marking all students papers, inputting students marks into spreadsheets and providing feedback to students. Facilitation of experiments, class time for working on assignments, marking and giving feedback to students on assignments. Experience in creating and implementing risk assessments for practical activities including dissections and other experimental procedures Introduction of the 10 micro skills for effective classroom management into lesson planning Continual planning for and use of Blooms questioning starters to elicit higher order thinking throughout lessons Observations of Ms Breanna Griffin along with many other colleagues from within the science and mathematics faculties Practicum 2 Helensvale State High School Due to start practicum in October however have already begun to observe the allocated classes from Ms Kirsty Cosnett and Ms Fiona Macrae as part of the TECE program Have been involved in facilitating school sports carnival I attended Ms Cosnett conducting parent teacher interviews where I was able to observe how an experienced teacher dealt with a range of different parents and situations Will be teaching 4 lines including 2x grade 9 chore science, grade 9 extension science and grade 11 biology Have already begun by introducing myself to students, giving my expectations and memorising students names in anticipation of teaching before the practicum begins

Both lead and train teams in various Natural Area Restoration tasks and techniques. Carry out natural area restoration through weed control (application of herbicides and Manual Removal), revegetation/planting and or natural regeneration.
