be from your yard
or a personal collection.

Third Grade Indicators

Reading We will continue
learning about Folktales/ Tall
Tales, and retelling important
event in a story. We will be
answer reading comprehension
questions.
Writing We will be completing some simple journaling
as we reflect on the quote of
the week.

Language Arts-We will be

introducing possessive nouns.
Math We continued to
work on rounding numbers.
We have also been working on
addition and subtraction with
regrouping.
Science We have completed
streak tests and hardness tests
to determine the properties of

rocks. Ask your child about Mohs

Hardness scale. Next week, we
will talk about living and nonliving
things and their characteristics.
