Key Achievements:
Program Managed the cluster consolidation initiative and migration of over 330 projects from 3 old
clusters comprising of 14,000 nodes with outdated hardware to 1 new cluster of only 1,400 nodes
with state of the art hardware and new technologies, for data-center footprint and power savings.

Program Managed the customer validations and migration of over 300 projects on Yahoo Grid
from previous Hadoop 0.20S environment to YARN based Hadoop 0.23 with High Availability of
Namenode. Received individual award from VP for Customer Focus at All Hands in Q4 2012
Followed that with Program Management of migration of the Yahoo Grid from Hadoop 0.23 to
Hadoop 2.x with Rolling Upgrade of clusters for High Availability, and Tez alongside MapReduce
As part of PM team delivered on the Segmentation of Projects on Grid initiative, leading to the
creation of the Master Projects Database as the single source of truth for all Hadoop projects
ever onboarded on Yahoo Grid. The Grid Onboarding Workflow System was built on that in 2014
