Title
The title of your critical investigation, formatted as a question (this is a
provisional title and can evolve and change over the course of your
investigation).

Abstract
The proposal should include a concise statement of your intended research of
roughly 100 words. This may be a couple of sentences setting out the problem
that you want to examine or the central question that you wish to address

Context
You should explain the broad background against which you will conduct your
research. Explain how your investigation links to the media, and is an important,
contemporary and relevant topic to investigate. You should summarise the
current state of knowledge and recent debates on the topic. This will allow you
to demonstrate a familiarity with the relevant field.

Theories & issues


Include a list of media theories that may impact on your investigation, and an
explanation of how they are relevant.
