Dear Senior Portfolio Committee,
As a Senior about to graduate, I would just like to say that I am well over
eligible to graduate from high school, and would like to pursue a career in
Journalism. Despite the fact that I dont know what exact part of
Journalism, I would still have to learn an extensive amount of social and
communication skills, in which I am already learning, because of my
Service Learning project, and the place of which I am volunteering at.
I am eligible to be to graduate from high school because of the fact that I
have already completed all my current credits for the A-G requirements,
and have received a relatively high GPA throughout my high school career
maintaining a 3.5 or higher. I even have received perfect attendance
almost every other year of high school as well.
As far as volunteer work goes, I Volunteer at this organization named,
Success, helping run it, while I supervise the kids. The organization lets
me help kids, while using discipline, giving me a lot of responsibilities to
do. Even in the past I worked at a place called Alpha Pregnancy Center ,
Volunteered at this organization serving as a waiter for a fundraiser, and
boosted my social skills, as I had to talk to the people I waited for.
Last but certainly not least, I would like to address the Senior Portfolio
Committee, thanking you for taking your time off your day to review my
Cover Letter, and helping me take a step forward as a future college
student with many potential beginnings yet to come in my life.
