Campaigning may begin on September 22nd. Candidates must supply their own materials and spend no more than $10. 1. Those students that have received permission to run for
office may begin campaigning Thursday, September 22nd. 2. The candidate must furnish all supplies for the campaign. Nothing may be taken from the school. 3. Each candidate is allowed only 5 posters which can be put up outside the classrooms. These may not be posted outside the building. 4. Each candidate is allowed only one poster per classroom and permission must be given by the teacher in charge. 5. Buttons, pins, stickers, etc. may be given out to the students by the candidates. It is their responsibility, however, to see that the materials do not litter the school grounds. 6. No more than $10.00 may be spent on candidates supplies. 7. Anyone caught defacing another candidates posters will be subject of disqualification of office. 8. Campaign stickers may not be placed on desks or other school property. 9. Do not place any posters on the church or at the front door of the school. 10. Posters may be put up on Thursday, September 22nd on your time, not during class time. 11. Candidates must remove all posters etc. before voting on Thursday, September 29th. 12. Candidates may not give away candy. 13. All poster must be approved by Miss Leggio or Mr. Goodwin before they can be posted. 14. Each candidate will give a one minute speech during lunch on Tuesday or Thursday, September 27th or 28th (unless running unopposed). 15. Failure to follow these campaign rules will result in disqualification.
