Guided Math is an environment in which students are afforded the opportunity to
work independently to build math skills, concepts, and strategies through the use of teacher directed tasks and Math Work Stations. Guided Math is a time for students to practice problem solving while reasoning, communicating, and making connections among mathematical topics. Each week: Your child will meet with me for direct instruction on 3 rd grade standards Third grade homework each week Hands on activities for the standard that week Online computer activity to practice the standard Pre and post assessments (short quizzes) on 3 rd grade standards Review of 2nd grade standards from whole group mini-lessons!
