2016 National Womens Month Celebration (NWMC)

Accomplishment Report
As a way of support to the promotion and advocacy of womens rights, this office
had joined the 2016 National Womens Month Celebration (NWMC). This
office conducted a one-day mini sport event in line with the proclamation
declaring March 8 of every year as a special working holiday to be known as
National Womens Day and participated in the Womens Month Celebration of
the City Government of Dipolog.
The one-day mini sport event conducted by this office on March 8, 2016
consisted of several sport categories, to wit: table tennis mixed doubles, table
tennis men doubles, basketball and lawn tennis. This event promotes not just
sport enthusiasm but to showcase, as well, a gender-balance condition to every
employee in this office in observance to 2016 National Womens Month
Celebration.
Last March 28, 2016 as a continued support to the Month-long celebration of
National Womens Month, this office joined the celebration of the City
Government of Dipolog. The celebration started with a program and ended with a
Foot Parade. The program was participated by Sen. Teofisto TG Guingona III as
a keynote speaker to the said event, and attended by different women
associations and government offices. The event also covered a Province-Wide
Modern Ethic Dance Competition which is one of the highlight of the said
celebration.
In addition, this office had also observed the hanging of the prescribed streamer
in front of the office premise during the whole duration of the 2016 National
Womens Month Celebration (NWMC).
Attached herewith are pictures taken during the one-day mini sport event
conducted by this office and the National Womens Day celebration spearheaded
by the City Government of Dipolog as attended by this office.
