ABOUT ME

SKILLS

Hi, Im Dan a 21-year-old graphic designer and

illustrator fresh out of university looking for
placements and other opportunities. Ive been
drawing and creating things since before I could
even remember the alphabet off by heart. My main
hobbies include film, creating electronic music,
reading about politics and global warming and
going on long walks.

Illustrator

WHAT CAN I DO?

Flash

I have spent years concentrating largely on honing

my skills in many different forms of digital media.
I love to illustrate as much as I love to design things,
as well as creating animations and motion graphics.
I also create electronic music in my free time. I have
also have an eye for fonts and colours and understand
when something just doesn't look right. Rarely will I
stick to one style either when it comes to my design
work or illustration. I am constantly trying new things
and experimenting with digital.

Very technically proficient and confident using this

software package. I mainly use this Illustrator to create
vector graphics, illustrations, typography, logos,
tracings and much more.

Photoshop

Again, very technically proficient and confident using

this software. I use Photoshop mainly for mock-ups,
digital painting, colouring, retouching, 3D renders
and photo edits.
I have been using Flash for almost a decade, primarily
for slightly more tradition pieces that involve cartoon
characters and frame-by-frame animation.

InDesign

I have been using InDesign since I started university

and know my way around most of it, I also used to
create this CV. It is always my first choice for layout,
books, and typography.

After Effects

Despite still having a lot to learn with this software,

I still consider myself very confident and proficient
using it to create clean and smooth motion graphics.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Shine Awards 2016 (Commendation)
After being shortlisted for the award and being invited
to Coley Porter Bell to present my package design
concept for Chivas Regal 18, I was awarded second
place and a bottle of the whisky itself.
