Megapower is established since 1990 which specializes in manufacturing and

supplying PVC conduit. On November 2011, Legrand join venture with

megapower for further expansion and provide a complete solution to the
customers.

PVC Conduit
1) Wireman Medium duty, no fire retardant
2) PVC link Heavy duty the conduit is fire retardant but the accessories are
not.
3) Saga conduit and accessories is fire retardant. Registered with JKR.
Therefore, many government project also use this range of conduit.
Previously PVC link is cheaper than saga, but currently saga price is
cheaper than PVC link because megapower have an agreement with JKR
that the price will not increase in 5 years time.
Switches
1) Belanko
- Covered by 1 layer of thin film, so during painting and renovation will
not get dirty.
- Clear marking of terminals for easy identification and safe wiring.
- Double entry for each terminal for looping purposes. Save time and got
more time to tackle other tasks.
- The only 3x3 4 gang switch in the market compared to competitor.
2) Mallia
- Has many range of colours and finishings to suit your style. (mix and
match)
- Matt satin finish for comfortable touch.
- Uses less effort (force) to ON/OFF the switches (more comfortable).
- Same with belanko, have 3x3 4 gang switch as well.
- Transparent rocker, for user to input any design they like.
3) Arteor
- The word Arteor came from france which means art and interior.
- It comes in module form, it can be like lego, construct the switch
according to what we like.
(1st module on off switch, 2nd module push button)
- The plate can be interchange as well, but normally consultant or
developer will take the cheapest one and the owner will upgrade
themselves next time. The cost will goes back to the owner.
- For the automation, it can be program using knex, zigbee or the
Legrand scs bus system.
- User can control the mode by using the touch panel or using laptop and
ipad.
- Can be link with Legrand intercom.
Intercom
1) Entrance panel 1st type used for condominiums or apartments.
2nd type used in building or office with known company
name.
3rd type without videos

4th type for personal unit.

Each shunt support 4 apartments, if lets say got 8 unit of apartments in
one floor, need 2 shunt.
In a more complex building, lets say we take an example of 3 building
with one guard house entrance, we need one porter switchboard in the
guard house.
The porter switchboard will be connected to entrance panel switchboard
shunt and the switchboard shunt will be connected to 3 riser shunt below
each building.
Each of the handsfree equipped with a SOS button. By pressing the button.
By pressing the button will be directed to the guardhouse.
Additional camera can be connected to the porter switchboard as well.
And when the handsfree is not in used, user can look at the CCTV through
the screen in their house.
From the porter switchboard in guard house, management can send
messages to all or certain units of apartment. So if lets say swimming
pool is under maintenance, maintenance can convey the message to
every residences of the apartment using the porter switchboard
Finally, the whole system is hardware based, no software at all, so if there
is a breakdown, the system only need less than 1 minute to resume the
function. If use the software based intercom might need more than 5
minutes and sometimes need to do some reset. So, sometimes although
this intercom is a bit old in technology but it might be useful in some part.
