Tie-in products a tie in product is when two products emerge to promote one another.
Battlefront and Lego Star Wars is part of this. Lego and Dice have teamed together with
Disney to produce their product.
SFX Lightsabres, the massive ray beam shot at the planets, the holograms, Maz Kanata,
the amount of storm troopers would have been copied and pasted to make it look like
there were thousands of them. The X Wings would have been props but edited in after to
look like they were flying. Practically everything is special effects, there would have been
bits in every scene that has been edited in after filming was done. Laser missiles would
be special effects
Any issues - During filming at pinewood studios, Harrison ford fractured his leg after a
hydraulic floor on the millennium falchion fell on him. According to Abrams, his leg went
90 degrees. Filming was suspended for 2 weeks. The health and safety executive bought
four criminal charges against Disney for Harrison Fords accident. There were drones over
pinewood studios to capture what the production crew was doing. Because of this, they
had to cover the props in black plastic sheets and were told to be wary of drones. The
script was locked in a safe so it was hard to replicate what the script and the director
wanted. Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford were both assigned personal trainers because
they were overweight.
