The offering for September is for Eastern Mennonite Missions and budgeted items.

Sept. 21, Wed.-Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will be meeting in the BMC
basement; morning and afternoon. All projects are for relief efforts around the world. MCC
special project for the month will again be school kits consisting of the following new
items only: 4 spiral or perforated notebooks (8 1/2 x 10 in & 70 sheets) 8 unsharpened
pencils 1 ruler ( flat, flexible plastic; indicating both 30 cm & 12 in ), 12 colored pencils
( in packaging ),1 large pencil eraser. Items are distributed in a useful double drawstring
cloth bag which are provided by Sewing Circle.

Sept. 21, Wed.- The students at Adamstown Elementary School will meet for the first
Released Time. If anyone is interested in helping out, please see Darlene or Sylvia.
Released Time is a good way of sharing Jesus in our community.
Sept. 21, Wed.- Youth Bible Study will meet at the church at 7 p.m.
Sept. 22, Thurs.- Jr. Youth Bible Study will meet at the church at 7 p.m.
Sept. 23, Fri.-6:30 p.m.-Cry Out! Simulcast at Reamstown Church of God, 400 Pfautz
Hill Rd, Stevens. Join Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, Joni Eareckson Tada, Bob Bakke,
Stephen Kendrick, Kay Arthur, Janet Parshall, and more for the Cry Out! Simulcast.
This nationwide prayer event for women will be a time for us to link arms to cry out to
God for our homes, our churches, our nation, and our world. Will you join us?

Sept. 24, Sat.- 12 p.m.-4 pm. Brecknock Township 2016 Fall Festival will be held
again this year, rain or shine at the Brecknock (Berks) Township Building.
Oct. 1, Sat.-9 a.m.-Woodcrest Retreat's Benefit Auction and Children's Country Fair.
Proceeds benefit the Summer Camp Ministry. Camping is available. Call 717-7382233 for more information.
Oct. 5,Wed,-9 a.m.-2 p.m.-Fall Senior Day at Woodcrest Retreat. Morning Speaker: Groffdale Mennonite pastor Tom Eshleman will share on the theme:"Purposeful
Living in the Changing Seasons of Life."The afternoon will feature creation slides by

Oct. 7 &8, Fri. & Sat.-Hinkletown Mennonite School HinkleFEST & Benefit
Auction. Come & join us for great food & fun at HMSs annual Auction weekend.
Friday includes: Pork BBQ dinner 4-7 p.m., Chicken Chase/Family Fun Run 4 p.m.,
Auction at 6:30 p.m. includes meat & local farm products, middle school club projects
& much more. Alumni Reception at 8:30 p.m. (RSVP please). Saturday: 9 a.m.
auction startspecial outdoor items such as John Deere Gator, dirt bike sold at noon.
Other items: Ephrata Cloister land deed lithography proofs, Beach vacation house
rental, and much more. Childrens activities: Friday movie 6:30 p.m., Saturday bounce
