Performance testing needed to be conducted on
their current online ticket reservation system to
evaluate:
Scalability of the current system from 100 to
250 users
Infrastructural changes needed to achieve
required scale

Since the performance testing had to be
carried out on Production environment, the
testing scripts had to be absolutely fail-safe
The client facility had varied connection
speeds
Significant external dependency for IT
infrastructure and related co-ordination with
third parties, e.g. frequent coordination with
vendors hosting front server as the runs
were repeated several times
Multi-tier application, requiring additional
tests

transactions reflecting peak load production
usage were identified as per agreed
transaction mix. Datamatics team carried
out a performance test and a stress test on
the current infrastructure for 350 VU.

occured onshore
