learn, to acquire skills, and to experience cultures, values,
and successes.

Principal's Message

Dear Warren County Middle School Community,

My name is Noland Hicks, and I am proud to serve as your principal. I am looking
forward to a very productive year of new beginnings and many successes for Warren
County Middle School. I am a native of New Bern, NC and a North Carolina Central
University Alumni. I went on to receive a Master of Education from East Carolina
University. I love to travel, read, and enjoy family activities. I am looking forward to
growing with you and learning from you.
I believe that in order to have a successful school we must all work together to
ensure that the needs of students are being met. I believe that it is everyones
responsibility to empower children with the creative, intellectual and critical thinking
skills necessary for them to become academically, socially, and emotionally
successful future citizens.
There will be many opportunities for you to be involved with the school, please
frequently check the calendar and look to receive communications from our school
and our staff. I look forward to having a positive lasting relationship with you and
