Apparatuses & Potions

As aforementioned in the previous chapter, apparatuses with specific functions that facilitates
the elementary work are vital to the survival of the critically injured
individual, as it relieves the doctor to focus on more arduous tasks.
One of such tools is the thin-necked liquid duct. This functions for the
medical
Alchemist as a lagged administrator of liquidized potions, this can, for

instance,

administer a watered diminutive potion of healing to dampen trauma-caused pain in the subject,
relieving them of possibly devastating reactions to surgery and administration of other solvents.
If the subject needs subjugation, such as if the subject has been poisoned by snake-venom or
tainted weaponry, a watered diminutive potion of paralysis can work as well. The usage of the
duct is continuity, as it grants the pure quaternary effect (Peritus, Eadalach, EP. Effectus
Quaternarius.) effectively. This can accord subjects for the desired length, with minimum
overexposure, much less than self-administered by lesser skilled administrators.
The duct can also prove vital when administering equalizing potions (Peritus, Eadalach, EP.
Effectus Quaternarius), such as cleansing and poison resistance potions, as the limited
administration allows the body to diffuse the liquids in its own time.
