Subject: Materials Quality Control Seminar Workshop

Greetings from the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) Cebu Chapter!
In line with the organizations continuing program for professional development,
PICE Cebu is conducting series of seminars and workshops as part of our
commitment to update the members with the latest technology related to our field
as well as relevant issues that may involve our interests and concerns.
For this month, PICE-Cebu, will be conducting once again the Seminar Workshop
on MATERIALS QUALITY CONTROL. It is scheduled on February 16, 2015 until
March 13, 2015. Main topics are Soil and Soil Aggregates, Concrete Technology,
Asphalt Technology and Miscellaneous Concrete and Manufactured Products,.
The objective of the seminar is to develop the knowledge and skills of the materials
engineers in the construction industry. There will be intensive lectures every
Monday to Friday, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at PICE Bldg., Panagdait Homes,
Kasambagan, Mabolo Cebu City (Tentative Venue) while hands-on sessions
on materials testing every Saturdays, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM. This will also serve as
a review for those who will take the DPWH Accreditation Examination for
Construction and Consultants Materials Engineers.
In this connection, we are inviting the Civil Engineers in your firm to participate in
this 4-week seminar workshop. Registration is Six Thousand Pesos (P6,000.00)
inclusive of review materials and handouts. For interested parties, please call PICE
Secretariat for reservations. Deadline of filing for Materials Accreditation
Examination is February 6, 2015 at DPWH VII, South Reclamation Area (SRP).
