Jesus Enters Jerusalem

Sept18 - Sept 24

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and

confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.

We can show Jesus our love by praising Him.

Father God,

Jesus and His disciples were going into Jerusalem. He

told the disciples where they could find a young donkey
for Him to ride. They put their clothes on the donkey
for Jesus to sit on. Many people saw Jesus coming.
They wanted to honor Him. They began to spread their
clothes and branches from trees onto the road where
Jesus was riding. The people shouted to Jesus, Hosanna
to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the
name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! Hosanna
means, Save, now!.
Matthew 21:1-11

I am thankful for Jesus dying on the cross to wash away

my sins and make my heart clean. Thank you for my
parents, teachers, friends, Pastor Ron, and his family. May
they love you with all of their heart and with all their soul
and with all their mind (Matthew 22:37). Forgive me
when I make bad choices. Help me to obey my parents so
things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the
earth (Ephesians 6:2-3). I will tell others how great You
are and how much I love you. Thank you that because of
Jesus, I am healed and whole.
