Reaction Paper on

LGBT Community

There are many things that Ive learned and stocked in my mind when my co-students
discussed the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) community. I learned a lot from
the discussion just by sitting in class and captivating the information that was presented
especially when it comes to the environment the LGBT has. I didnt know that LGBT is really
against the church because for me its just the way how LGBT express themselves to others.
They are true to themselves. Church is against when they make love between man to man and
woman to woman. But in terms of expressing LGBTs life, church is not against it.
For me, Im not really against it as well as those LGBT dont exceed to their limitation
(e.g, man to man gets married). I have learned that LGBT is not only a choice of ones person, it
is also hormonal. I have a classmate that is gay, and according to him when he grow, he knows
himself that he really admire man because when he was young hes searching for a love of a
man, because he doesnt feel the love of his father. I understand now that there are different ways
of dealing with other individuals have different views than I do, and I think that coming to
college had a lot to do with that realization. I believe that the message of the gospel is to love
everyone, not to condemn them. I think that its a little bit silly that these people are trying to
condemn others for being the way they were made rather than loving them and showing them the
love of Christ.
I really hope that others should accept the real personality of ones person. I hope that
they will respect what others want to do themselves. Its not about who we are, where we from,
why were here, etc. As long as we know that we live in Gods world, we are all loved.
