songs.
Do not bring in your songs of Shetani analiyaliya (the
devil is crying), Ayi Yesu, yakwata Sitani (Jesus caught the
devil), or Shetani chini (Satan lower) in praise and worship
sessions. Here we are totally praising and worshiping God.
FIND TIME ELSEWHERE PROBABLY IN THE STREETS
TO TALK ABOUT THE DEVIL BUT NOT IN PRAISE AND
WORSHIP SESSIONS. We need to triumph over the devil by
glorifying the name of God, no use to make mention of the
devil in the midst of deep praise or worship. When we glorify
God, automatically the devils kingdom is shaken and overthrown
Most dreadful today, most of our churches have become
stable in spending three quarters of their time meant for
praise and worship in singing about the devil and the other
quarter in the me, i & our songs. By close of business, the
whole church is very comfortable that they have praised and
worshiped God. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;
because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee...
Hosea 4:6.
Praise songs; Luke 2:13-14; At the birth of Christ Jesus,
suddenly there was with the Angel, a multitude of Heavenly host
praising God saying Glory to God in the highest and on earth
peace, good will towards men. Praise songs must give God Glory
and bring peace in the hearts of men. Examples of praise songs;
How great is our God
Our God is an Awesome God
Yahweh
Holy is the Lord
I call you Holy
Lord God of Abraham
God of wonders
His love endures forever
Glorify thy Name
Glory to the Lord
The Lord Reigns
God is Good all the time
Great in power
Let the Name of the Lord be praised
All the Heavens shout your Praise
Worship songs; only songs that glorify God for who He is must be
sung in worship session. It is important to pay reverence to God at
this point in time because worship is adoration; bowing down to God.
I will sing
Because He lives
You are my world
I will be still
He touched me
You are my strength
And let the peace of God
Imagine me
I will run to You
Am a friend of God
Oh sing for Joy
I am not forgotten
Am trading my sorrow
Prayer songs; these songs make requests to God; they ask for
Gods provision, healing, deliverance, name it. Such songs are most
suitable to introduce after worship; when people have soaked up
in the anointing; in the presence of God. Once Gods attention has
been drawn in worship, it is then easy to dialogue, to chart with
Him and to ask for your rights as a child of God. Never to beg nor to
wail because you are not a beggar before God but His child who is
entitled to certain rights. You only need to exercise your position
and authority as co-heir with Christ Jesus and it shall be done.
Examples of these songs;
Fill this temple Oh Lord
Let your glory fill this place
Let your Glory fall
Eagles Wings
I surrender
Call on Jesus
I pledge allegiance
Holy Spirit Thou Art welcome
Breathe on me
As we worship you
Our Father
Ancient Word
Power of love
Lord we proclaim you
Refiners fire

Ancient of days
All things are possible
I will enter His gates
Oceans will part
In Christ a one
God is in control
Thanks giving songs; these songs give thanks to God. Most appropriate to introduce after people have prayed, to thank God believing
that every prayer made has been answered. Below are some examples;
Worthy is the Lamb
We say thank you Lord
Thank you for giving to the Lord
Thank you Lord
Give thanks with a grateful heart
What can i do but thank you
Cross cutting songs; these songs are mixed up; part of the
chorus falls in any category of songs and the other parts in others.
Introducing such songs in any session needs a sober and a

I could sing of your love forever
And that my soul knows very well
Now is the time to worship

3.0 PRAYER AND FASTING
3.1 Prayer is communing with God the Father in Heaven; it
involves building altars in our hearts and calling upon the name
of God; Genesis 12:8, 13:4.
Examples of distinctive prayers made in the Bible:
Joshua after the defeat at Ai reasoned with God; Joshua, 7:812.
Samson called upon God for a remembrance of his strength; to
be avenged against the philistine; Judges 16:28-30.
Hannah in the bitterness of her soul vowed unto God for a
remembrance; 1 Samuel 1:9-20.
King Hezekiah petitioned God of his righteousness; how rightly
he walked with His God, that unto him 15 years more were
added; 2Kings 20:1-6.
Job after being reproached by his friends never cursed any but
prayed for them that unto him, fortune was restored twice as
much as he had before; Job 42:10.
Jesus Prayed; Matthew 26:39.
In Matthew 6:5-14 Jesus Christ taught His disciple how to pray
through a sequential series;
And when thou pray, thou shall not be as hypocrites are; for
they love to pray standing in synagogues and in corners of
the streets, they have their reward. But thou when thou pray,
enter into a closet and when thou has shut the door, pray to thy
Father who is in secrete and thy Father who sees in secrete shall
reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions
as heathens do; for they think that they shall be heard for their
much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them; for your
Father knows what thing ye have need of, before ye ask him
After this manner shall ye therefore pray;
12
Part III; Give us this day our daily bread; after determining the will
of God, we can now go ahead to make our requests known to Him
minding vain repetitions but praying in the Word of God;
Joshua 1:8, Jeremiah 23:29, John 15:7, 2Timothy 3:16-17,
praying without ceasing in rejoicing, giving thanks in prayer and
supplications; Philippians 4:6-7, 1Thessolonians 5:16-20. Below
are some scripture to guide you.
Praying in authority; Job 22:28, Isaiah 54:17, Matthew
10:1, 11:12, 16:19, 18:18-20, Luke 10:19, and doubt not but
believe that you will receive; Mark 11:23-24. When the
anger of God was fierce against the children of Israel for a
golden calf they made to worship; Moses in his authority
commanded God to repent of His evil against the children of Israel and
reminded God of His covenant with the children of Israel; Exodus
32:11-14. WE NEED NOT TO DEMAND BUT TO
COMMAND GOD in our positions as sons of God;

Romans

In need; Deuteronomy 1:8, 28:12-13, Psalms 34:10, 37:25,
103:3, Isaiah 53:3-5, Peter 1:3.
In trouble; Genesis 28:15, 30:22-24, Deuteronomy 1:30, 28:1213, 31:6-7, Joshua 5:9, Judges 16:28, 2Chronicles 16:9,
20:15,17,22,23, 32:7-8, Job 5:19, Psalms Chap 13, 17, 22,
23, 25, 26, 28, 34, 35, 38, 40, 43. Palms 46:1, 75:6-7, 118:17,
125:1-2, Isaiah 41:10-13, 43:1-7, Jeremiah 1:5, 29:11-13, 30:1617, 33:3, 2Corinthians 4:8, 2Timothy 1:7, Zephaniah 3:19-20,
Romans 16:20, 2Corinthians 4:8,17 10:3-6, Ephesians 6:10-17.

Be it known unto ye all and all the people of Israel that by the
Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom
God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand
before ye whole. This is the stone which was rejected by the
builders which has become the chief corner stone. Neither is there
salvation in any other; for there is no other name under
Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved Acts 4:10-12.
Wherefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him a
Name which is above every Name; that at the Name Jesus, every
knew should bow of the things in Heaven and things in earth and
things under the earth; and every tongue should confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father Philippians 2:9-11.
Jesus Himself said; All power is given unto me in
Heaven and in earth; Matthew 28:18. I am the door, by me if any
man enters in, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and
find pasture. The thief comes not but to steal and to kill and to
destroy, I am come that you might have life and life in
abundance; I am a good shepherd; the good shepherd gives his
life for the sheep John 10:9-14. I am the way, the truth, and the
life; no man comes unto the Father but by me John 14:6. Verily
I say unto you, he that believes in me, the works that I do shall
he do also and greater works than these shall he do; because I
go unto my Father. And whatsoever you ask in my Name, that
will I do that the Father in Heaven may be glorified in the Son. If
you shall ask anything in my Name, I will do it; John14:12-14.
Meaning, when praying, you must pray in the Name of our Lord
Christ Jesus; and for you to pray in His Name, you must have
accepted Christ Jesus as your personal Lord and Savoir and
believed in your heart that He died and Rose again; John 3:3-5,
Romans 10:9-10; must be a new creation; 2Corinthians 5:17,
and joint with Christ Jesus in one Spirit; 1Corinthians 6:17.
3.2 Fasting refers to not eating anything or relying on drinks or
plain diet, it involves;
Periodic fast; the Mosaic Law appointed a fast on the day of
attainment. There is no mention of any other periodic fast in the
Old Testament except that in Zachariah 7:1-7, 8:18-19.
15
Public fast: was occasionally proclaimed to express national humiliation and to supplicate divine favour; 1Samuel 7:6. 2Choronicles 20:3.
Private fast: is frequently observed under the influence of grief,
vexation, anxiety and is recognised once in the law; Numbers 30:13.
In the New Testament, the only referenced fast is the Jewish fast;
Mathew 9:14, Acts 10:30. The Jewish fast was obtained with varying
degree of strictness; sometimes absences from food (dry fast) referred
to us Esthers fast; Esther 4:16, or plain diet (wet fast) referred to us
Daniels fast; Daniel 10:1-3. The New Testament has no command for
Christians to fast. Some people however have gone ahead to form their
own kind of fast including; abstaining from a partner and/or a bed.
When to fast;
When things are not moving as expected or when foreseeing a
danger or hitting a rock Esther Chap 4, 5, 6, Daniel 6:18-26.
Need to beseech God for forgiveness and restoration; 2Samuel
12:13-16.
When preparing for deliverance sessions or missions; Matthew
17:19-21.
In preparation for ordinance of leaders; Acts 14:23.
As a full time Minister; Servant of God, you must array yourself in
fast; Luke 2:37.
When not to fast;
When the Master Lord Jesus is at work; in breakthroughs, you
need not to fast but to praise God with rejoicing; testifying of the
great works He has done; Matthew 9:14-15, 2samuel 12:23.
Why certain fasts dont yield results;
Because of our iniquities;Isaiah 59:1-2,Jeremiah 14:7,11-12,Acts
8:22.
When we fast against the children of God; Zachariah 7:5-6.
When we fast against the will of God; John 5:14-1, James 4:3
What to guard against when fasting;
Defrauding yourselves without consent with each other (in case of
married partners); 1Corinthians 7:3-5
Hypocritical fast; fasting goes with the fear of God, prayer, reading
and meditation upon the word of God, without which, one ends up
in hunger strike. You need to separate yourself for God until you
notice a spiritual difference in your life; Acts 10:1-5.

God is love and every on who loves is born of God and knows
God; 1John 4:7-8, and he who dwells in love dwells in God
and God in him; 1 John 4:16, and where there is love, there
is no fear for prefect love casts out fear; 1 John 4:18-20, we
love God because He first loved us, 1John 4:19. Because
God is love, we too aught to love one another with the love of
God; not as Cain who slew his brother; Genesis Chapter 4.
God is come to set us at variance for His great loves sake, therefore,
he who loves his father, mother, daughters or sons more than God
is not worthy of Him, he that takes not his cross to follow God is
not worthy of Him and he that finds his life shall lose it but he who
loses his life for Gods sake shall find it; Matthew 10:34-29, for
everyone that has forsaken his house for Gods sake shall receive back
hundred fold and shall inherit the everlasting life; Matthew 19:29.
If you love God then keep His commandments John 14:15, God
in His ten comments pointed out love as second to worshipping
no other God than Him; Exodus 20:4-17, love is the greatest
commandment; Mathew 22:34-40, John 15:12, He commands
us to love one another John 13:35, to love our enemy, Matthew
5:38-47, Luke 6:27-28, Romans 12:9-21, to honour all men and
love brotherhood, 1Peter 2:17. He that loves not his brother
abides in death, whosoever hates is brother is a murderer 1John
3:11-16. You therefore cannot say that you love God yet hate
your brother; 1John 4:20; you are a lair and the truth is not
in you; 1John 1:6-10, first be reconciled to your brother before
giving your gift in the altar; Matthew 5:22-25, 18:15-17, 21-23.
Paul enlightens that; though I speak with tongues of men and
of Angels and have no love, I am become as a sounding brass
or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have a gift of prophesy
and understand all mysteries and all knowledge and though I
have all faith, so that I could remove mountains and have no
love; I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed
the poor and though I give my body to be burned and have
no love, it profits nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love
envies not; values not itself; is not puffed up 1Corinthians 13:1-4.
25
Where love is, there is giving for God so loved the world the
he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in
Him should not perish but have everlasting life John 3:16.
Abraham demonstrated his love for God by giving his only
begotten son Isaac Genesis 22:1-14. Therefore LOVE
WITHOUT GIVING IS LUST. The married partners; you cannot
say you love your spouse yet cant give him/her a surprise gift of
worst an clair. Man of God, GIVING HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH
ANOINTING BUT THE HEART TO GIVE; render to Caesar what
belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God; Matthew 22:21.
The reason most heathen have prospered against the children
of God and their marriages more stable is because they have
discovered the deep secrete of giving; they are down to give.
However when giving, take hide not to be seen of men; Matthew 6:1-4.
Moses didnt have material thing to give but he offered his efforts to
water Jethros flock and behold, he begot himself a wife Exodus 2:1521, and so did David marry out of 200 foreskins 1Samuel 18:20-29.
Brethren; giving comes from the heart; you cant say you
dont have what to give; look through your wardrobe,
kitchen, sitting room or bedroom, cosmetic tool box and your
talents and value your heart if true you dont have what to give!
It is appalling that some Christians still keep clothes, shoes,
radios/TVs/speaker and kitchen cartulary of 1900 and yet
petitioning God for the new blessings of 2000. First discard
the old and apply faith for the new; the two cannot co-exist.
Launch therefore into the deep and give whole heartedly; Luke
5:4, because, you will harvest what you planted; Galatians 6:7.
But this i say, he who sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly
and he who sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully; every man
according as he purposes in his heart; so let him give not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful give 2Corinthians 9:7.
Give and it shall be given back to you, good measure,
pressed down, shaken together and running over shall all
men give into your bosom, for with the same measure that
ye meter, it shall be measured to you again Luke 6:38.
26
27
The first fruits; the first of the first fruits of thy land, thou
shall bring into the house of the Lord thy God; Exodus 23:19,
all that opens the matrix is mine and every firstling among thy
cattle whether ox or sheep that is male Exodus 34:19, honour the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all
thine increase; Proverbs 3:9. Cain and Abel worshiped God with
their first fruits and to each heart was its own reward; Genesis 4:1-5. All the firstborn are mine; for on the day I smote all
the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I hallowed unto me all the
firstborn in Israel both man and beast mine shall they be, I am
the Lord, they are sacrificed for God Numbers 3:13, 8:17-18.
Parents; do not therefore take your firstborn for grantage; even before they were formed in your wombs; they were chose and taken by
God to be His own. Sacrifice them for God; to do His works, also every
beast, fruit or harvest that opens the womb or season; they are not
yours but Lords; offer them unto the Lord as heave offering which
offering shall support the work of God in the tabernacle/temple.
Offering comes from your heart; it includes; alms and apostolic giving.
Giving an offering is not a command as tithe; no one should
therefore compel you but by the guidance of the Holy
Spirit. Your shepherd should be in position to guide not to
exploit you. God knows what you have; Leviticus 1:1-2. Bring
(NOT send) offering before the Lord; Numbers 6:16, 7:3.
In the Old Testament; the children of Israel used to shade blood
for a burnt offering and sacrifices unto God; for repentance and
peacemaking; Leviticus chapter 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 but with Christ
Jesus in the New Testament being the sacrificial Lamb
who shade His blood on the Cross once and for all for the
redemption of our sin; NO more need to shade blood for a sacrifice
but to offer a bountiful sacrifice from the circumcision of our hearts.
Tithe; we tithe our capital gains NOT THE CAPITAL; the capital is
an investment to bring about an increment WHICH INCREMENT
MUST BE TITHED NOT BY WILL BUT BY COMMAND. Tithe into your
store house (your church where you are being feed from) which tithe
will support the ministers of God in your church; Numbers 18:12.
28
29
God uses you for who you are; if your heart is to serve nations;
surely; God will place you in position to serve, if it is supporting; He
will truly place resources in your hands to be able to support but
if your hearts is wicked/devilish; then surely the devil will use the
wickedness of your heart to place Gods children into their rightful
positions just as Judas Iscariot of the twelve disciple was used to
bring the scriptures to fulfilment; for the glory of the Son of God.
For a man to turn away from the ways of God, it begins with
the heart; the heart is hardened; Isaiah 63:17, but if he
opens his heart to God, it becomes a dwelling place for Christ
Jesus Ephesians 3:17 and dwelling place for the Holy Spirit
2Corithians 1:22; for God is no respecter of persons; Acts 10:34
but a fool has said in his heart, there is no God; Psalms 14:1.
The heart of a righteous man studies to answer but the mouth of
the wicked pours out evil things; Proverbs 15:28, for man looks
on the outside but God looks into our hearts 1Samuel 16:7.
Am sure at the time of Elijah; 1King Chap 17, Luke 4:2427, there were many widows but God commanded this very
widow woman in Zarephath that belonged to Sidon to take care of
Elijah wherefore she and her son were delivered from the stricken
famine that was upon the land. Still at the time of Mary; there were
many virgins in Nazareth but Mary the mother of Christ Jesus
was chosen to be His mother; Luke 1:24-38; why? THE HEART!!!
David the shepherd, son of Jesse was preferred and accepted
before God to be anointed King over Judah; he was a man after
Gods own heart 1Samuel 13:8-14, 16:1-13. Of all the King that
ruled Judah, his house was taken wherein the Kingdom of God
was established forever; 2Samuel 7:1-17. Why? THE HEART!!!
Beloved, i speak to you today not as i but by the guidance of
the Holy spirit; we are what we are today because of our hearts;
If you are to prosper financially then surely you must have the
heart to give; be ready to be a steward of Gods treasury; GOD
BLESSES THOSE HE KNOWS WILL BE A BLESSING TO
OTHERS. But if you will continue in your misery ways then mediocrity

chapter 5 & 6, this was just to ignite the hearts of the children of
Israel for a new journey to the land of Canaan; Exodus Chapter 14.
Always have the confidence that God has delivered you from
the striving of the people and has made you the head of the
heathen, a people whom you have not known shall serve you;
Psalms 18:43. As soon as they hear of you, they shall obey you;
the strangers shall submit themselves unto you Psalms 18:44.
And at that time, i will undo all that afflict thee and i will
save her that halteth and gather her that was driven out and
i will get them praise and fame in every land where they have
been put to shame. At that time will i bring you again even in
the time that i gather you; for i will make you a name and a
praise among all people of the earth, when i turn back your
captivity before your eyes, say the Lord Zephaniah 3:19-20.

Not what goes into the mouth defiles man but what comes
out; Matthew 15:11, 17-20. Thou art a snare with word of thy
mouth, thou art taken with words of thy mouth; Proverbs 6:2,
the tongue of the wise uses knowledge a right; but the mouth
of the fools pour out foolishness Proverbs15:2, a fools mouth is
destruction and his lips are the snare of his soul; proverbs 18:7.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue; they that love
it shall eat the fruit thereof; Proverbs 18:21, walk therefore in
wisdom, let your speech be seasoned with grace and salt that ye
may know how ye ought to answer every man; Colossians 4:5-6.
Keep
thy
tongue
from
evil
and
thy
lips
from
speaking guile; Psalms 34:13, Psalms 39:1, be swift
to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath; James 1:19.
33
34
A good shepherd must bear fruits; every tree that beareth not fruits
is hewed down and cast in fire; Matthew 3:10 and whatsoever
you sow, you shall reap; Galatians 6:7, He who sows to his flesh
shall reap corruption but he that sowth to the Spirit shall reap
everlasting life; Galatians 6:8, ye shall know them by their fruits
Matthew 7:16-20, Luke 6:44, the Kingdom of Heaven shall be taken
away from you and given him that beareth fruits; Matthew 21:33-43.
A good shepherd must be blameless; husband to one wife,
vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to
teach, not given to wine, no sticker, not greedy of filthy lucre but
patient, not a brawler, not covetous, one that rules well his own
house, having his children in subject with all gravity; (for if a man
knows not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the
church of God?), not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride and
falls into condemnation of the devil; must be of a good report least
he falls into reproach and the snare of the devil; 1Timothy 3:1-7.
Likewise must the Deacons be grave; not double tongued,
not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre,
holding the mystery of faith in a pure conscience. Must use the
office of a Deacon being found blameless, even so must their
wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. Let
Deacons be husbands to one wife, ruling their children and
their own house well; must purchase themselves a degree of
great boldness in faith which is in Christ Jesus; 1Timoty 3:8-13.
An elder must not be rebuked but entreated as a father and
the young men as brethren, the elder women as mothers, the
younger as sisters with all purity; 1 Timothy 5:1-2. Let the
elders that rule well be counted worth of double honour
especially they who labour in the word and doctrine; 1Timothy 5:17.
And against the elder, receive not an accusation but before two or three
witness 1Timothy 5:9, them that sin, rebuke before all that others
also may fear; 1Timothy 5:20, lay hands suddenly on no man neither
be partakers of other mens sin; keep thyself pure; 1Timothy 5:22.

Now that you have confessed Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and
Saviour, you are saved; you have accepted Christ Jesus in your life.
The proceeding scriptures will guide you in your walk of salvation;
For by Grace we are saved; Ephesians 2:8, because all have sinned
and come short of Gods Glory; Romans 3:23, none is righteous;
Romans 3:10, if we say that we have no sin, we make Him a liar and
the truth is not in us; 1John 1:6-10, not by works of righteousness
which we have done but according to His mercies that we are saved.
He saved us by washing of regenerations and renewing of the
Holy Ghost; Titus 3:5 and gave His only begotten son that
whosoever believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting
life John 3:16. But as many as received Him, to them He gave
the power to became the sons of God, even to the that believe
on His name; John 1:12, therefore if any man be in Christ, he
is a new creature; the old things are passes away; behold, all
things are become new; 2Corinthians 5:17. Knowing this, that
our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might
be destroyed; that henceforth we should not serve sin, for he
that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be died with Christ,
we believe that we shall also live with Him; Romans 6:6-8.
This scripture shouldnt depart from your lips;I am crucified
with Christ, nevertheless i live; yet not i but Christ lives in me;
and the life which i now life in the flesh, i live by faith of the Son
of God who loved me and gave Himself for me Galatians 2:20.
Do not forget to search out your scriptures daily; Joshua 1:8,
Acts 17:11, knowing that; from the days of John the Baptist, the
Kingdom of heaven suffers violence and only the violent take it by
force Matthew 11:12. Go preach the gospel to all creatures and
he that believes and is baptised shall be saved; Matthew 28:19,
Mark 16:15-18, for with water, one is baptised unto repentance
and with Christ Jesus, one is baptised by the Holy Ghost and
with fire; Mathew 3:11. Except one is borne of the water and
of the spirit, he cannot see the Kingdom of God; John 3:5-6.
Work out therefore your own salvation with fear and
trembling; Philippians 2:12 and press for the price of the

the ministry; sources for new ideas, new products and

organizational assets.
Note: Good management is significant in goals achievement,
crucial in maximising resources, reducing communication
gaps and in conflict resolution. It is therefore VERY VITAL TO
DISTINGUISH MINISTRY MANAGEMENT FROM CHURCH
LEADERSHIP. For purposes of protection (in case of
prosecution) IT IS NOT GOOD TO INVOLVE CHURCH
LEADERS IN MANAGERIAL ROLES. Let church leaders
concentrate on being good shepherds and an independent noble team
be appoint into management. This preserves the reputation of the
shepherds especially in areas where negotiation or conflict is involved.
12.3 Conflict management
Conflict is an inevitable by product of interpersonal dealings; it is
antagonistic interaction which is based on scarcity of power, resources, and differences in values. There are two categories of conflict;
1. Dysfunctional (destructive) conflict which traditionally is
known to be bad, harmful and must be avoided

12.7 Delegation
Delegation is an act of assigning specific task with a
degree of formal authority for decision making to a
subordinate having relevant skills and knowledge in the
tasked to be performed. The person delegated to must be
given the authority and degree of freedom to execute his duties
without interference except the responsible person is consulted.
Delegation is to the subordinate not to the superior. It does not
include abdication of responsibilities but rather the holder of
position remains accountable. Sensitive areas like signing cheques,
documents and utilization of financial resources must be done in
consultation with position holder. The delegated person must not
take advantage to seize authority from his superior but should
work in loyalty, respect and trust not to destroy the reputation
of the superior. The holder of position must be ready to tolerate
mistakes knowing that this is a learning opportunity of the
delegated person but not to terminate his duties in case of any mistake.
Delegation; was first invented by Jethro; Moses father-in-law;
Exodus 18:13-24. Lack of delegation is not good; verse 17; it
wears down; verse 18.

Ten Principles of Delegation.
1. Goals should be pre-determined.
2. Clarity of delegation; the task, authority and accountability.
3. Parity of authority and responsibility.
4. Responsibilities cannot be delegated but obligations.
