The left facade is

The building should
be consistent on all
sides unless it is a

The sidewalks
are utilized as
informal parking
slots instead of
walkways.

The juxtaposition of
both the
perpendiculars (the
windows and the
railings) and the
diagonals (the
louvers) create
contradictory
directions when
compared to each
other.
The windows width
seem wrong for it
occupies the whole
lot of the front
facade with its
relation to the size
of the building, and
yet its relation to
the whole context of
the building is just
right, provided that
windows should be
10% of the total
space. Since the
back of the building
is a firewall, there is
no choice but to
maximize the space
upfront for air
circulation.

The vertical
louvers are not
operable unlike
that of the
comfort rooms,
and since they
cannot be moved
when it needs to
be closed, the
users blocked it
with plywood.
The windows
were amplified
on the front
faccade to
attune with the
circumstances
and yet it failed
on its function to
circulate air and
maximize
daylight for they
always remain
closed, they only
acted as skin.
The light coming
from outside is
too much which
causes glare to
the buildings
users.

The adjacent
spaces
of the building are
parking areas, a
firm discrepancy
since an
educational
buildings main
consideration is
the sites
tranquillity.
An eaveless
building amidst a
tropical setting

mismatched within
the climate of the

building is facing a

lies a wide field of
windows and
openings, aclear
mismatch between
the existing
environment and
the design of the
building.

site that is why
every space
imaginable is
utilized for

and contexts,
because it is
wrongly situated
between parking
lots and structures
that are not for
like it s purpose.
