Good Morning.. My name is Triva Maria Manik.

Im coming
from KBS TV and Im broadcasting live news from South Korea. I
want to tell you that the family members in Korea from various
countries come to celebrated Chuseok, The Korean
Thanksgiving. Chuseok is a major harvest festival. The people
of Korea travel from the large cities to their hometowns to
honor the spirits of the ancestors. Chuseok, the Korea
thanksgiving, held throughout Korea especially South Korea.
Chuseok is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the
lunar calendar. Like many other harvest festivals around the
world, it is held around the autumn equinox. Its three-day
holiday in Korea. This celebration in the form of binge eating to
thank for the success of the harvest, so it is also called the Day
of Harvest, Harvest Moon Festival. The message of Chuseok are
family members from near and far come together to share food
and stories and to give thanks to their ancestors.
