    Fall 2016 Schedule U-8

    Coaches - Please review your information; if it is incorrect or incomplete - let us know ASAP.
    Play is 4 v 4 NO goalie; 4, 10 minute periods with 2-3 min breaks.
    Coaches meet before game; can be on the field; educate players on rules-but maintain the game flow. Home team
    listed first. Should there be a reason to cancel and reschedule a game due to weather or other reasons, it is the
    responsibility of the home teams coach (not LCSC) to contact the away team coach one-and-a-half hours prior to the
    game to allow enough time to contact team parents, etc.
    New for this Season: - THERE ARE NO HEADERS ALLOWED IN THIS AGE GROUP.
    - You must either loan players to the other team or play down so that matches are played at even strength with this
    exception: If a team goes up by 4 or more goals the other team should add a player(s) (or the team up should play
    down a player) until the score differential is less than 4 goals.

    Romp and stomp


    The Romp N Stomp is intended to be great soccer, foster healthy competition,
    and a day to enjoy a season of soccer energy with all our kids.
    Trophies are awarded for winning teams in the U8, U10 and U13 brackets
    and are placed in area schools for the year.
    While competitive, the goal of this is FUN FOR ALL.
    U8B/G - First place will be based upon bracket play
    After your second game, your team should report to the scorers table
    - each player receives a souvenir & LCSC would like a team photo.
    U8 championship will be determined by winner of the 'finals'.
    Semifinals/Finals teams are selected based upon the following:
    Tie - breakers (ranked in order - the first team "win" of a tie breaker moves on)
    1. Team with a win in head-to-head games has the better record
    2. Bonus points (Win = 3 points, Tie = 1 point, Loss = 0 points + Bonus points as follows:
    winning teams can earn up to 3 bonus points based on goal differential.
    No bonus points are earned over 3 goals. (A win of 3-0 = 3 BPs;
    a win of 5-0 = 3 BPs, a win of 4-1 = 2 BPs, a Win of 6-3 = no BPs)
    Note: BPs only come into play for tiebreaker purposes.
    3. 5 minute overtimes - no golden goal.
