Pre- reading
1. Revise graphemes ee and ie that have
been taught to represent the phoneme
/i:/ and /a/ through simple games;
2. Bend Forward and Backward
3. The Sound Wave
4. Introduce the split diagraph e-e and i-e
that represent the phonemes /i:/ and /a/.
While- reading
5. Using the words list in text book (page
126), teacher guides pupils to blend the
phonemes into recognizable word and
segment the words again into phonemes
to spell. Point out the phoneme for the
grapheme e-e ori-e from the words.
6. Teacher does Say Me Right activity
together with pupils. Through this
activity, teacher will guide pupils to
blend and segment the words. Then,
pupils will say aloud after teacher.
7. Use flashcards to help pupils to
remember the meaning of the words.
8. Teacher drills pupils through 'Hear Me
Say' game.
Post- reading
9. Teacher distributes worksheets.
10.Pupils do the activity in their activity
book (page 95). Teacher read the words
and pupils circle their answers.
