INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PAPER-SETTER
The Question paper will consist of five sections A, B, C, D & E. sections -A, B, C & D
will have two questions each from respective sections of syllabus. Section E will consist of 8 to
10 objectives/very short- answer questions which will cover the entire syllabus uniformly. All
questions will carry equal marks.

Candidates are required to attempt one question each from the sections A, B, C and D of the
question paper and the entire section E.
SECTION-A
Differentiable Manifolds, examples of differentiable manifolds, Differentiable maps on

SECTION-D
